Earlier in March, team members of Foundation Risk Partners came together for an inspiring webinar focused on the “Excellence in Women Leadership” as part of our Power Collective Speaker Series – FRP’s Women’s Resource Group initiative. The special internal Teams event was hosted by Debbie Tappin, Senior Vice President of Legal and Claims at FRP, and featured a panel of incredible leaders from RT Specialty: Sarah Lin, President of RT’s Casualty in San Francisco, CA; Marya Propis, EVP of RT’s Retail Distribution in New York City, NY; and Pilar Summerville, EVP of RT’s ProExec in San Diego, CA.

The panel offered valuable insights on the significance of Women’s History Month, sharing personal reflections on overcoming challenges faced by women in the workplace and the insurance industry. They discussed setbacks and proudest accomplishments, knowing when to pivot, the importance of mentoring and advice for the next generation.

The FRP team is deeply grateful for the sincerity and candidness with which each panelist shared their experiences.
