Foundation Risk Partners (FRP) is pleased to announce that Debbie Tappin has been named to a newly created role as Senior Vice President, National Claims Officer. In this role, Debbie will work under the strategic leadership of Mary Lawless, FRP’s National P&C Chief Operating Officer, and her claims team to ensure continuity and ongoing support for the organization.
This new National Claims position represents a strategic investment by FRP and underscores our belief that best-in-class claims leadership is a meaningful differentiator in the marketplace. In this role, Debbie will provide enterprise-wide strategic leadership and operational oversight for FRP’s national claims organization, with a focus on driving claims excellence, strengthening carrier and vendor partnerships, enhancing client advocacy and advancing consistent, high-quality claims practices across all lines of business.
“As our organization continues to grow, elevating Claims to a dedicated national function strengthens our value proposition to clients, carrier partners, and internal teams, while positioning FRP for continued scale and long-term success,” said Mary Lawless. Mary added that Debbie’s depth of experience, credibility, and proven leadership made her the clear choice to lead this new function.
With more than 25 years of combined carrier and agency experience, Debbie is uniquely qualified to lead this effort. She has served in multiple leadership roles at FRP and most recently as Senior Vice President of Claims and Senior Deputy General Counsel, as part of FRP’s Legal team led by Tom Leek, FRP’s Chief Legal Officer.
Among other programs, Debbie has made a significant mark in moving The Power Collective (TPC) initiative forward this past year working closely with TPC team of professional women at Foundation Risk Partners. Congratulations Debbie!
