Foundation Risk Partners (FRP) proudly continues its commitment to supporting causes that raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer. This holiday season, we are honored to champion the mission of Swim Across America (SAA) on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Daytona International Speedway. SAA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to award grants to innovative cancer research, clinical trials, detection and patient programs through charity swims that unite communities in the fight against cancer.
Since its founding in 1987, Swim Across America has granted more than $100 million to fund cures, advance early detection and support survivorship programs for children and adults. With more than 25 charity swims hosted nationwide, Swim Across America inspires communities to make waves for a meaningful cause.
FRP CEO Charlie Lydecker has been instrumental in bringing Swim Across America–Daytona to the iconic speedway as part of the CLASH Endurance Family Weekend. All donations will benefit grants awarded by the NASCAR Foundation and Swim Across America to support pediatric cancer programs.
“The Team at FRP is proud to sponsor Swim Across America (SAA) and its mission to bring hope and fund critical research for those fighting cancer,” said Charlie Lydecker, CEO and Chairman of FRP. “We’re honored to help bring the event to Daytona International Speedway on December 7 as part of the NASCAR Foundation’s CLASH Endurance Family Weekend.”
Lydecker and his son Andrew Lydecker, both experienced competitive swimmers, will be participating in this event and are passionate advocates for the fight against pediatric cancer. Charlie is an accomplished masters swimmer and 14-time national lifeguard champion, holder of multiple U.S. Masters Swimming Top Ten honors and relay records and winner of the Escape from Alcatraz swim. Andrew is a three-sport high school athlete and former swim team captain, USLA National Lifeguard Championship competitor, Swim Across America participant and Texas Ironman finisher. Together, Charlie and Andrew exemplify leadership, endurance and a shared passion for making waves in the fight against cancer.
Join us on December 7, to #MakeWavesToFightCancer. Whether you swim, volunteer or donate, your support matters. Participate in the one-mile or 100-meter swim, make a splash with the “Dolphin Dash” cannonball plunge, or cheer from the sidelines and share on social media—every wave counts. Together, we can make a difference.
